POSITION: SR. EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER (#114393)

LOCATION: NATICK, MA

Addendum for Section F.a.2: Job Duties Participate in verification and validation activities at different phases of the waterfall phase-gate process for our flagship products, Osmettes and Cryettes. Collaborate with QA team to ensure that software meets quality standards and regulatory requirements. Demonstrate effective teamwork using Microsoft's Team Foundation Server (TFS). Work closely with hardware engineers, application engineers, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals. Create and maintain work instructions, test procedures and other technical documentation required for the Design History Record (DHR). Ensure accurate and comprehensive records through the software development lifecycle. Collaborate with hardware engineers to design circuits and board layouts using Altium & KiCAD toolsets. Develop firmware in C/C++ for the boards, considering real-time operating systems (RTOS) or bare-metal environments. Design schematic captures and write hardware description language (VHDL) code for CPLD and FPGAs on the boards. Ensure proper integration and functionality of digital components. Conduct preliminary EMC compliance testing on the projects according to the IEC 60601-1-2 standard. Address any issues related to electromagnetic compatibility. Design and develop Windows application software using C++ and/or C#. Create tools to assist in the assembly, testing and quality control of electrical units for both Janus and Fontus. Compile and push ECOs as required by ISO and FDA regulations. Ensure that changes made to sustaining projects are properly documented and implemented.

REQUIREMENTS:

Master's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering or related filed plus one year of experience in Software Development including experience in C/C++, RTOS, Altium, VHDL and EMC Compliance Testing.
